•  Visit the Golden Temple (Sri Harmandir Sahib) — watch pilgrims bathing in the
  holy waters, hear the early-morning kirtan, observe the gold-plated sanctum, and
  walk around the marble parikrama (path) around the sarovar (tank).
•  After temple visit, walk through Heritage Street, between Town Hall and Golden
  Temple. The street has been refurbished with vintage-style facades, decorative
  lamps, pedestrian-friendly paths, small shops and cafés — a pleasant place to soak
  in local atmosphere, try street snacks, watch people
• Explore Hall Bazaar / Hall Bazar in the evening — vibrant market for Punjabi
  textiles (Phulkari, juttis etc.), local fabrics, colourful items; chance to try local foods
• Overnight stay in Amritsar.

•  Start at the Golden Temple again (if you wish) to see it in different light (morning
  rituals, fresh calm atmosphere).
• Go to Jallianwala Bagh, near the Golden Temple — memorial garden with historical
  significance, infamous bullet marks on the wall, and the Martyrs’ Well.
• Visit Durgiana Temple (Shri Durgiana Mandir) — a Hindu temple built in early
  20th century; its architecture and setting (in the midst of a lake/sarovar) closely
  resembles the Golden Temple; ornate domes, a beautiful silver door, serene
  surroundings.
•  In the afternoon, head out to Wagah Border / Attari-Wagah crossing to witness
  the evening flag lowering ceremony. The parade is exuberant, patriotic, full of
  energy, large crowds on both sides. Good time to see border rituals, guard drill, and
  sunset.
• Return to Amritsar for dinner and overnight stay.

• After breakfast, check out but keep lighter luggage if possible.
• Visit Sadda Pind — a cultural “living village” experience. It recreates rural Punjabi
  life: traditional mud houses, folk art (Phulkari embroidery, juttis, pottery),
  customary crafts, musical performances (Bhangra, Giddha), interacting with
  artisans; you can try local cuisine like makki-di-roti, sarson da saag, Amritsari chole,
  lassi
• If there is time before your flight or train, revisit favourite markets in Amritsar, pick
  up souvenirs, try local snacks you missed.
•  Transfer to Amritsar airport / railway station for onward journey.
